Relevant structures of Artsakh must work with Russian peacekeepers: Tigran Abrahamyan

For already several months, the Russian peacekeeping contingent has been spreading official messages about accompanying the pilgrims to Gandzasar-Amaras. Tigran Abrahamyan, the head of “Henaket” analytical center, the representative of “I have Honor” Alliance, wrote about on his Facebook page.

“For a person who has not visited Artsakh after the war or does not know the line of contact with Azerbaijan, this message may give the impression that Gandzasar or the road to it is either under Azerbaijani control or dangerous, so they go there accompanied by peacekeepers.

Although some sections of the Stepanakert-Red Market-Amaras road pass near the Azerbaijani positions (not so close), there is no official information on recent incidents in that section.

By the way, there is another, safer way to reach Amaras. You can get there in the direction of Stepanakert-Nngi-Chartar.

Thus, the relevant structures of Artsakh should work with the Russian peacekeepers in this regard, explaining that their messages cause some confusion, which in turn may cause fear and concern for tourists coming to Artsakh,” he said.
