On 29 June, President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan received a group of relatives of servicemen missing as a result of the 44-day war.

The General Information Department of the President’s Office of the Artsakh Republic reported.

The head of state briefed the participants on the progress of the search works carried out in that direction through various channels, the obstacles and problems caused by the Azerbaijani side in connection with them.

Arayik Harutyunyan stressed that the Government of the Artsakh Republic, in close cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian peacekeeping troops, is doing everything possible to find out the fate of the missing.

“For the Artsakh authorities, the issue of returning the captives and finding out the fate of our missing compatriots remains the number one issue on the agenda, and all means are being used in that direction to have a positive shift,” the President assured.
