In the center of Sisian, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the borders are determined by the law on the administrative-territorial division of the Republic of Armenia.
“In the law, the description of the administrative borders of Nerkin Khndzoresk community, Tegh community also provides – border with Azerbaijan. That was in 2010. The government of that time passed the law, which describes our problematic borders today. They described the neighboring community, on the other hand they wrote – the border of Azerbaijan. Now, the people who were members of the government during those years, who were deputies of the National Assembly, tell us, why do you stand by those points, do you recognize that border? Why didn’t they say at the time that this is the border of the Artsakh Republic? It was written in our law that this is our border; beyond the village of Tegh is the Republic of Azerbaijan. The CSTO tells us, this is your border, you have described your border,” Pashinyan said.
