Former Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Karen Karapetyan made a statement, which says:

“The Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh are in a deep crisis – moral, psychological, political, economic, social and value. It is difficult to imagine a deeper crisis, that is at present. I think that the government under whose rule this crisis has arisen, remaining in power, will severely limit the country’s development opportunities, the possibility of using the nation’s potential and capabilities.

Taking into account, on the one hand, the backward and aggressive policy of Azerbaijan aimed at consolidating its success, and on the other hand, the challenges facing Armenia, the continuation of this crisis every day is detrimental to us and only us.

This fateful moment is the most powerful test for the government to show whether they are able to rise above narrow political interests, to show high consciousness, giving the country peace, political forces to rethink their past and shape the vision of the future, and the people to form a new government in peace/

I hope the Prime Minister will find the courage to make a decision to leave for the benefit of our country’s future.”
