The people of Artsakh are returning home: Etchmiadzin Municipality

Etchmiadzin Municipality informs.

“Artsakh people are returning home.

During the war, more than 1,500 Artsakh people, about 250 families, took refuge in our city. During this time, with the help of individuals, business-benefactors and organizations, we have been able to provide these families with food, clothing and supplies. We have also provided most of them with accommodation. We will make a detailed report on this in the near future.

Today, we have already started the process of relocating the families who have expressed a desire to return to Artsakh. The families wishing to return home have been traveling to the capital of Artsakh, Stepanakert, for free for two days now.

Echmiadzin Mayor Diana Gasparyan will also be in Artsakh these days. Within the framework of the visit, the mayor will have meetings with the representatives of the competent bodies to discuss what to do and further steps to support the Armenians of Artsakh who are currently in Etchmiadzin.”
