From the very first moments of the hostilities unleashed against the Artsakh Republic, the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, within the framework of its functions, has organized the implementation of relevant activities conditioned by the situation provided by law.

In parallel with the official processes, the National Security Forces were actively involved in the military actions, and many members of the system contributed heroically to the noble cause of defending the homeland.

During the hostilities that started on 27 September, 46 servicemen of the RA NSS frontier troops became heroes, 191 heroic Armenians were wounded, the location of 2 of the brave frontier guards is still being clarified.

The families of all the servicemen worthy of eternal glory, appreciation and honor will always be in the center of attention of the national security system, and everything possible will be done to support them, in the direction of which the leadership of the RA NSS has given clear instructions.

The National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia once again pays tribute to the memory of all the heroic servicemen, wishes a speedy recovery to all the wounded colleagues, reiterates that their names have a firm place in the glorious pages of the significant history of the system.
