The current situation gives us a legitimate right to move our operations to the whole territory of Azerbaijan to clear it of terrorist groups. Spokesman for the President of the Artsakh Republic Vahram Poghosyan wrote about this on his Facebook page.

He, in particular, wrote:

“Artsakh these days, without exaggeration, is involved in the fight against international terrorism. There are serious reasons for making this claim, which are not limited to the expert level.

First, by declaring war on Artsakh, Azerbaijan effectively abandoned the path of resolving the issue through peaceful negotiations under the auspices of the three OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries (representing different power poles of the world) and chose the extreme approach of resolving the issue by force or military.

Second, from the first day of the war, Azerbaijan targeted the peaceful settlements of Artsakh, using weapons that are prohibited by various international conventions.

Finally, in the large-scale war against Artsakh, the authorities of that country have involved mercenary terrorists, the existence of which has been proved by various international centers.

This means that the current situation gives us a legitimate right to move our operations to the entire territory of Azerbaijan to clear it of terrorist groups.

Our struggle is fair, the forthcoming developments will surely be in our favor. “All the responsibility for the consequences will be borne by the defeated military-political leadership of official Baku, headed by the Aliyev family.”
