A case of recurrent coronavirus has been registered in Armenia. YSMU student Arsen Harutyunyan, who worked with the infected people, wrote about this on his Facebook page. 40 days after recovering, the infection was found again.
“There is a double infection. About 40 days after my previous infection, Covid-19 was diagnosed again yesterday, this time with bilateral infiltrative pneumonia. I urge all the people I have been in contact with in recent days to self isolate. I myself did not believe in being infected for the second time in such terms, but we have what we have. Be healthy,” he wrote.
Notably, cases of recurrent infections have been found in different countries of the world, including Russia.
