Temporary Entry and Exit Restrictions have been imposed in Haterk Community of Martakert Region since Yesterday

Temporary entry restrictions have been imposed in Haterk community of Martakert region since 23 July.

Artsakh Information Headquarters informs.

As of noon today, an exception has been made for those with permanent residence or de facto residence in Haterk, allowing them to enter the community.

The need to establish a special regime of entry and exit in the community arose from the fact of the coronavirus detection at the place of mourning organized on the spot. The infected people arrived from Armenia, and after participating in the ceremony, they received a positive result of the PCR test. Citizens infected with coronavirus were immediately taken to a medical facility. And because infected people had a wide range of contacts during the funeral, access to and from the community was restricted. Those in direct contact were taken to isolation confinement.

Specialists from the Ministry of Health, as well as the Martakert District Rapid Response Team, are continuing the necessary work in connection with the incident.

It should be reminded that yesterday, in fulfillment of the decision of the Azerbaijani border on July 23, 2020, the Azerbaijani police installed special checkpoints at the entrance of the roads leading from Getavan-Zaglik communities of Harterk community of Martakert region to control the movement of people and vehicles.
