The National Security Service is conducting a search in the house of Gagik Tsarukyan, a member of the National Assembly and leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party.
Deputies Mikael Melkumyan, Iveta Tonoyan, Arman Abovyan, Ghorg Petrosyan, other deputies and supporters gathered near his house.
Naira Zohrabyan presented, what was the reason for the search, according to their information․ “Let me tell you what is the irony, imagine. If I’m not mistaken, in the 2017 parliamentary elections in Martuni, we had a candidate nominated by the majority, his name was Vazgen, I don’t remember the last name. As if I there were some financial problems with that candidate during the elections, I don’t know whether he gave money, I don’t know what he did, the people who carried out the search here couldn’t even explain what it was about.”
She mentioned that they left the search area not to disturb the work of the NSS employees.
