In the Republic of Armenia the Church is separate from the State.

 

The Republic of Armenia recognizes the mission of the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church, as an exclusive in the spiritual life of the Armenian people as well as its role in the development of the national culture and preservation of the national identity.

 

The freedom of action of all religious organizations that operate in compliance with the order provided by law is guaranteed in the Republic of Armenia.
