At the regular sitting on 7 May, the government made a decision on the seventeenth measure of neutralization of the economic consequences of the coronavirus.
Hakob Arshakyan, Minister of High-Tech Industry presented the decision to the members of the executive.
The aim of the event is to support the preservation of effective jobs due to the difficulties caused by the spread of coronavirus in some high-tech businesses in the Republic of Armenia, as well as to promote the implementation and modernization of innovative ideas in the field.
The beneficiaries of the event are the businessmen in the field of high technologies, who:
comply with the criteria mentioned in the RA Law on State Support in the Sphere of Information Technologies,
As of the day of submitting the application, there are no overdue tax and credit liabilities during the last 12 months.
As of the day of submitting the application, they have not received a grant from the BTA Ministry during the last 12 months.
The assistance is provided through a grant to the above-mentioned beneficiaries who are the winners of the tender.
The evaluation of the applications is carried out by the independent professional competition commissions approved by the order of the Minister of High-Tech Industry, which consists of the associations of the sphere, specialists and representatives of the state beneficiary departments.
Applications are evaluated at the invitation of the competition published by the Ministry of High Technology, according to the standards and evaluation scales developed by the commissions, taking into account the innovation of the presented program, compliance with the Government’s strategic priorities, feasibility, financial compatibility, market liquidity in the international market and other necessary criteria.
