On 22 April, RA Minister of Defense David Tonoyan paid a working visit to the military bases located in the south-western direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border.

The Minister of Defense was informed about the operative-tactical situation in the border zone, the current engineering and fortification works, the support of the armament works.

The Defense Minister spoke with the officials, assuring them that the issues related to the continuous improvement of the social and living conditions of the personnel are always in the center of attention of the military-political leadership of the country.

David Tonoyan encouraged the servicemen on duty in difficult mountainous conditions and thanked them for their excellent service.

The Minister of Defense also listened to the reports of the commanders of the military units on the implementation of the tasks set before the subdivisions, the work aimed at increasing the level of combat and moral training of the personnel, gave relevant instructions and directions.
