On March 20, the regular meeting the Commandant’s Office was held under the leadership of the RA Commandant Tigran Avinyan.

Tigran Avinyan said:

“We are starting the next gathering of the Commandant’s Office. First of all, I would like to congratulate our Foreign Minister Mr. Zohrab Mnatsakanyan on his birthday. Mr. Mnatsakanyan, thank you and all the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, our ambassadors, our diplomats for their high quality work, especially during this difficult time.

Today, we will discuss issues, problems and solutions offered by various agencies. We will also discuss some new activities that are planned to be introduced in the shortest term. We are talking, in particular, about issues related to the elderly and their lifestyles, defining certain opportunities for them and taking measures to protect them from certain risks.”

In order to organize the regular work of the production companies, the issue of expanding the list of products and raw materials allowed between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Armenia was discussed.

Considering the fact that the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs is negotiating with “Haypost” CJSC that the employees of the company will personally visit the beneficiaries’ place of residence and transfer their pensions, the importance of ensuring the safety of the postmen and the provision of sanitary and hygienic means was highlighted.

Reference was made to the use of information technology tools in the fight against coronavirus disease, as well as to the regulation of employer-employee relations in the state of emergency.
