Due to the state of emergency announced to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the Republic of Armenia, a number of individual pages have been found in the Armenian segment of various social sites that disseminate misinformation to create panic among the population. The investigations and measures taken by the officers of the RA Ministry of Justice’s high technology crime division in the RA Police revealed that the users of individual pages disseminating such information were not aware of the records on their pages. It turned out that the postings on individual pages of Armenian users were made from the IP addresses of the Azerbaijani Internet segment.

Report on the incidents were received from the citizens.
