We do not have Any Cases confirmed in Other Settlements of Kotayk Marz. Romanos Petrosyan

Kotayk Governor Romanos Petrosyan posted a post on his Facebook page saying:

“Dear compatriots, residents of Kotayk.

I am sure you all are well aware of the importance of social responsibility that is expected of us all in our country in the event of a state of emergency and the implementation of the Complex Action Plan of the Government of the Republic of Armenia aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus.

And in this situation where none of us are insured to become infected due to our activity or due to objective circumstances and / or that virus is transmitted independently of us all around us, the only thing that depends on each of us is the maximum self-isolation and each of us. – Providing the necessary preventive / disinfectant action.

In all cases, I assure you that the Government and relevant bodies of the Republic of Armenia are fully aware of the situation, and that our Citizens need to simply follow all official instructions and obtain information exclusively from official sources.

I would also like to add that at this moment in some of the hospitality establishments in our region there are hundreds of our citizens who have been in contact with infected that have been confirmed so far, who are simply at risk and are NOT infected. They are properly supervised and provided with all necessary living conditions.

And finally about Charentsavan:

At present two residents of the community have been confirmed to have the virus, who have returned from abroad and have initially been isolated. Now they are in the process of healing and have no contact in Charentsavan. We are waiting for the results of the test of two more citizens. The latter have also been isolated.

We do not have any cases confirmed in other settlements of Kotayk Marz.

Dear friends,

In case of additional information, you will be informed immediately.

Accordingly, I ask you to refrain from spreading misinformation and under no circumstances to impose unconfirmed information.

Another important observation:

As you understand it, unacceptable panic-stricken moods and all attempts to spread unnecessary distress are unacceptable in any community. One way or another, the issue is all over our Republic, and the fight against it or its possible inclusion cannot be local in nature.

Once again, I ask you to demonstrate a high degree of civic conciousness and take your share of social responsibility.

Follow exclusively official sources of information, make necessary instructions, if necessary, contact the community health center or contact the MoH hotline.

In a state of emergency, we operate 24 hours a day and are in constant touch with our partners and relevant government departments in the Government of the Republic of Armenia, as well as a permanent link with the Commandants’ Office.

Health to all us!”
