All the requirements of the preschool kindergartens in Yerevan must be strictly observed. This was stated by the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Tigran Virabyan during the meeting with the heads of the municipality’s general education department and corresponding subdivisions of the administrative districts. The Deputy Mayor noted that a few days ago during the visits to some kindergartens in Yerevan he personally noticed a number of shortcomings.

In particular, the Deputy Mayor urged to exclude showing extra number of children, to strictly monitor the quality, timing and especially conditions of the food provided.

Special attention was also paid to the issue of staff discipline and child safety in the kindergartens, paying special attention to property protection issues. Tigran Virabyan also stressed that any unlawful act cannot go unpunished.
