The National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia held a meeting of the Board at the Director, chaired by the Acting Director of the National Security Service, Colonel Eduard Martirosyan.

RA NSS Deputy Directors, heads of central and regional bodies attended the meeting.

The agenda of the session included enhancing the effectiveness of anti-corruption activities, more systematic implementation of the NSS activities based on situation analysis and evaluation, improving the level of cooperation with other bodies, as well as addressing contemporary challenges and countermeasures.

The heads of relevant units presented reports on the results of the work carried out by the NSS within the framework of the fight against corruption, the existing problems in the field, the ways of solving them and overcoming the obstacles.

Summing up the results of the reports, speeches and discussions on the agenda items of the meeting, Eduard Martirosyan gave specific instructions to the heads of central and territorial bodies on the wider involvement of the National Security Service in the overall fight against corruption in the Republic of Armenia and the consistent implementation of its activities.

To oversee the implementation of the recommendations given at the same time and report their results in a timely manner. Martirosyan gave strict instructions to the heads of individual units.
