On 25.06.2019 the National Assembly adopted in the first reading the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law ” Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on Corruption Prevention Commission presented by the Speaker of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan.

The draft amends the mechanisms for nominating candidates for the member of the commission and the Chairman of the commission. The procedure for holding the competition by an independent specialized council has been abolished.

Iravaban.net spoke with Ms Nazeli Baghdasaryan, MP of the “My Step” Faction on the issues regarding the parliamentary majority candidate and the Commission.
