The road toll, a compulsory charge which is to be paid into to the state budget in accordance with the law, is levied for gathering financial resources to construct, repair and maintain of the state roads of common use.
When the road tolls are to be paid?
The road tolls prescribed for the vehicles registered in other countries are to be paid at the moment of entrance into the territory of the Republic of Armenia. If the vehicles stay in the Republic of Armenia for more than 15 days, the new payment should be made for every period of additional 15 days (or less than 15 days).
