From early morning, rapid response teams of the Ombudsman’s staff carry out visits to the Police departments by the order of the RA Human Rights Defender. We learned this from the Human Rights Defender’s Office.

At present, the visits have been carried out in order to ensure the rights of the persons detained by the Police departments of, Nor Nork, Arabkir, Shengavit, Mashtots, Erebuni districts of Yerevan City. Special attention is paid to the grounds for their detention.
