On August 11, First Deputy Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan hosted the Co-ordinator of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the European Union (EU) SIGMA Program Coordinator Marian Lemke. During the meeting, the importance of the assistance provided to Armenia in the framework of the SIGMA project, in particular the development of the new laws on procurement, civil service and on external audit.
Issues related to cooperation opportunities in public administration and public finance management within SIGMA project were also discussed. At the end of the meeting an official invitation was given to the RA Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan to participate in the Ministerial Conference “Good Public Administration for Citizens and Business” to be held in Paris on December 13-14.
