The Yerevan Council of Elders by its decision, provides for an corresponding fee for parking cars, which, conventionally speaking, is paid to the city budget, we are talking about red lines, lawyer Marat Atovmyan said in an interview with Iravaban.net.

“There are some changes related to tariffs and places. Unfortunately, there are cases of incorrect application of the law, which later lead to legal proceedings. It is provided that the citizen does not have to pay for the first 15 minutes, in case of parking the car. That is, those 15 minutes are free. After that, you have to make the payment for one hour, and there are cases when the person, due to some circumstances, paid not within 15 minutes, but after 30-40 minutes, but in any case, he paid that amount, he also has the letter confirming the payment. However, the Municipality of Yerevan subjected these persons to administrative responsibility, imposing a fine of 5,000 drams for non-payment,” the lawyer said.
