“He said we are defending, I will call again ․․․ he did not call?” Sevak Movsesyan volunteered to defend Artsakh
Volunteer Sevak Movsesyan, who died in the 44-day Artsakh war, left on 2 October to defend Artsakh.
The father, Suren Movsesyan, says that before volunteering, Sevak tried to help the boys fighting on the front lines with his work in the rear.
“He was my friend, he told me everything. He was literate, graduated from college with honors and entered the Engineering University, then family problems arose, he left the university halfway, started working and helping his family, he was solving all the questions,” the father says.
His friend Grigor Tonoyan says that Sevak has been taking care of everyone since he was in school.
According to the father, the son was always worried when he saw that people were leaving the homeland.
“He said, ‘Why are they going?’ Well, a person is born somewhere, grows up, then leaves all this and goes. He was a symbol of patriotism for me,” the father says.
Sevak was a member of the Union of Yerkrapah Volunteers. He went to the front with them.
Sevak Movsesyan was born on 30 November, 1990. He died on 10 October, 2020 in the battles for the defense of the homeland.
