On 7 November, the Insurance Foundation for Servicemen began providing compensation to the families of killed and disabled servicemen in the war unleashed by Azerbaijan. The donations raised about $ 9 million. The families of about 158 ​​killed servicemen have already started receiving compensation.

Varuzhan Avetikyan, Executive Director of the Insurance Foundation for Servicemen, says that at the moment only the families of the killed servicemen receive compensation. When the wounded servicemen receive the disability status, the applications will be transferred from the Ministry of Defense to the fund, and the process of compensating the disabled will also begin.

The families of missing servicemen will receive these compensations when the fact that their relative is missing is confirmed by court.
