In Mashtots Park in Yerevan, people have been collecting useless paper for about a month, handing it over and sending the proceeds to the Ministry of Defense. Within the framework of these works, about 1 million 300 thousand drams have already been donated to the Ministry of Defense.

Mihran Avagyan, the organizer of the initiative, says that about 6,000 drams and Soviet rubles were found in the books.

Initially they collected only papers, but when people started bringing books, they decided to sell them. Proceeds from the sale of books were also transferred to the Ministry of Defense. Books do not have a clearly defined price, people even paid $ 50.
