19-year-old Shahen Galstyan was killed during the struggle to repel the Azerbaijani aggression. The news about the death of a soldier who served only for 6 months was announced by the Artsakh Defense Army on 12 October.

Shahen was a student at the Armenian Pedagogical University, studied at the Department of Dance, and was the soloist of the “Berd” Armenian State Honored Ensemble of Dance.

“We had the last concert on 15 December, 2019. He came, handed over the stage costumes and went to the army,” Karen Gevorgyan, the Director of the” Berd “dance ensemble says.

Fellow students say that Shahen is their hero. “Shahen’s war will remain unfinished in all of us.”
