What support do citizens from Artsakh receive? How to apply for support?

The problems faced by the citizens of Artsakh, who spontaneously arrived in the Republic of Armenia as a result of the war unleashed by Azerbaijan on 27 September, are coordinated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. Those who come from Artsakh can call the 117 or 114 hotline with their questions.

In a conversation with Iravaban.net, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Tatevik Stepanyan presented the assistance programs provided to the citizens of Artsakh.

School-age children from Artsakh can attend a school near their place of residence under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.

On the instruction of the Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan, the citizens temporarily transferred to Armenia from Artsakh can apply to the polyclinic and maternity hospital of “St. Grigor Lusavorich” medical center in case of the need for outpatient medical care.

They can also apply to the nearest “Haypost” branch to receive their pension or benefit.

It should be noted that the process of receiving funeral benefits for citizens killed in the aftermath of hostilities has been simplified.
