Although collecting money has not yet been eliminated in preschools and schools by 100%, however everything is being done in this direction and the figures have come near to zero. Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Tigran Virabyan stated this in an interview with Iravaban.net.

“Since the beginning of the school year, we have been gathering the heads of schools, kindergartens, having workshops and discussions, where one of the key issues is to exclude any kind of money collecting, whether it’s for kindergarten, kids, excursions. We also periodically send circulars, and warnings. Executives or employees of organizations that do not follow the advice, do not abide the requirements of Law and try to organize such processes are punished strictly,” the Deputy Mayor said.
