It is proposed to set as of 1 January, 2020:

• Minimum pension amount – AMD 26500 (instead of AMD 25500),
• Basic pension for calculating the amount of labor and military pensions – 18,000 drams (instead of 16,000 drams);
• Cost of one year of service for the first ten years – 950 AMD (instead of 800 AMD);
• Cost of one year of military service – 1600 drams (instead of 1500 drams).
• The size of the military pension for the military servicemen of the mandatory term military service:

for the disabled of the first group – AMD 40,000 (instead of AMD 36,000)

for the disabled of the second group – AMD 30,000 (instead of AMD 26,000)

for the disabled of the third group – AMD 27000 (instead of AMD 25500)

• In case of losing the breadwinner of a deceased (killed) serviceman’s family member of the compulsory military service, the amount of military pension is AMD 27000 (instead of AMD 25500) for a child under 18 who has lost (or a daycare student) who has lost two parents AMD 90000 (instead of 80000):

It is also proposed to increase the amount of benefits for old age, disability and caregiver by setting them at 26500 drams (instead of 25500 drams), and for two children who have lost 18 years of age (or a daycare student) to 90,000 drams (instead of 80,000 drams).

The Ministry also reports that the state pensions will be regularly increased, ensuring a progressive increase in the average pension over inflation.

The (extreme) poverty line is projected to be 26․500 drams by 2020.
