The Order 0038, which is attached to the Case, is not real. Robert Kocharyan’s Defender
Today, the Appellate Criminal Court is considering complaints about the decision to choose measure of restraint against the second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan.
Notably, on 15 November, the Court of Cassation released the decision on the complaints submitted by the parties related to the decision on choosing a measure of restraint against the second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan. The Cassation Court satisfied the appeal of the prosecutor’s office in part, and the petitions of Kocharyan’s lawyers were completely denied. The decision of the Appeal Court was reversed and sent to the same court for a new examination.
On 26 July, Robert Kocharyan was charged under Part 1 of Article 300.1 of the RA Criminal Code for the fact that he had overthrown the constitutional order of the Republic of Armenia with prior agreement with other persons.
