The Anti-Corruption Council is not and will work only under the instructions: NGO Representative

“It is not clear why the Anti-Corruption Council was created on the Government decision.” Stepan Danielyan, President of “Cooperation for Democracy” NGO said in the interview with Iravaban.net. He said that the fight against corruption should be carried out by the law authorities.

“I do not know what problems could be solved by non specialized bodies, maybe system problems? However, the RA President and the Parliamentary majority have potential for systematic solutions,” Mr. Danielyan said.

Referring to the already created Council members Stepan Danielyan said, “I know only the co-chairs, and I am not interested in any other issue. It is not an independent body and it can operate only under the instructions.”
