Anti-Corruption Council should be composed of CSO Representatives: Anahit Bakhshyan

“The thief stole from the thief, God saw and was surprised,” Anahit Bakhshyan, member of Yerevan Council of Elderly answered to question about the anti-corruption council, which was established on the governmental decision in the interview with iravaban.net.

As it is already known the council is headed by the RA Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan. Minister of Finance Gagik Khachatryan and the RA prosecutor general Gevorg Kostanyan are members of the council. CSO representatives should be members of the council as well.

“Activities of these people and corruption coalesce with each other, and suddenly it appears that these people are members of Anti-Corruption Council,” Anahit Bakhshyan said.

She also said that those people were just those who give commands and that the council should be comprised on ly by te powers that counterbalance them that is the CSO representatives and opposition political parties.
