“Independent Observer” has circulated a statement on the process of monitoring of extraordinary elections of the National Assembly of 9 December, 2018.

At polling station 6/9 of Yerevan, the observer recorded several cases of electoral violations where an unknown person  removed the ballot from the envelopes, checked it and put back in the envelope, after which only the voter had the opportunity to cast the ballot in the ballot box.

The voter’s information was not filled out at the 22/22 polling station of Spitak.

In the polling station 27/33 in Argel village of Kotayk marz and polling station 16/14 in Armavir city, military servicemen were going to vote in a row, which is a violation of the Electoral Code. According to Article 65, Part 4 of the RA Electoral Code, “Servicemen, national security and police officers enter the precinct center in non-combat order.”
