There will be a Personnel Revolution, but it does not mean that we will take the Scythe and mow everyone: Pashinyan

On July 20, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan holds a press conference in the Government.

The Prime Minister touched upon the recent noisy appointments in the State Revenue Committee.

“It is very difficult to find personnel appointments in Armenia, which do not create a negative response. The government has appointed the Chairman and the SRC Chairman decides the policies including the policies in the middle politician of the SRC, including the middle level of management. I’m not going to follow every certain event, but I am not going to leave without response all the reports, which I receive and they are in my focus.

I have talked to SRC Chairman on this topic and I hope this conversation will bring to concrete results. If it does not produce results, then it will be my turn to response. It is important for us to ensure stability in the state systems. As you have seen, we did not make dramatic, revolutionary personnel changes in the police. We did not make revolutionary changes in the tax and customs systems as well as in the investigative department. Why? We acted so to ensure the stability of the systems and avoid leading to a vacuum? Generally, there is no personnel revolution in Armenia.

There will be a personnel revolution, but it does not mean that we will take the scythe and mow everyone,” the Prime Minister said.
