Today at the meeting with the reporters, Minister of Health Levon Altunyan presented the work done in the sphere of healthcare over the past year.
Speaking of available medicine problems, he said that as a result of optimization started in one sector in addition to saving money it would be possible to decrease the prices for health care: in particular, the value of heart stenting can be reduced by 40%.
According to the Minister, at present, steps are being taken to reduce the prices of drugs. In 3-4 years, healthcare in Armenia can become fully financed.
