The Disciplinary Commission of the RA Police held 9 sessions in 2016. During these sessions the Commission discussed 35 cases from overall 43 cases of internal investigations referring to the police officers.
During the sessions, the Commission decided to solicit the Head of the RA Police, to apply disciplinary penalties “reprimand” against 8 police officers, “severe reprimanded” against 5 police officers, “dismissal from the police system” against 29 police officers, and to send the internal investigations materials of the case of 1 police officer that were prepared in the headquarters of Yerevan Police Department to the Internal Security Department of the RA Police for re-examination.
