At the 8 November joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Health and Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs, the financial allocations and budget programs in the field of healthcare envisaged by the Draft Law “On the RA State Budget for 2022” were discussed.

RA Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan informed that the financing of the sphere in 2022 will make about 120 billion drams. Expenditures on the sector will increase by 4.7% compared to the current year. It was noted that taking into account the current global challenges of the healthcare system due to the epidemic of 2020-2021, the money will be directed primarily to the implementation of measures to combat the latter, providing the public with vaccines, rapid and adequate response to healthcare system risks.
