Suren Deheryan about the Draft Law on the Work of Media
Today the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly organized parliamentary hearings to discuss the issue of “Insult and libel on the Internet: Existing Problems and proposed Legal Solutions.”
Suren Deheryan, Head of “Journalists for the Future” NGO mentioned that the efforts should be directed to the free dissemination of information and access to the Internet, rather than to detection of the unknown and application of sanctions.
