On October 10th, it became known that the National Security Service (NSS) conducted special operations at the John Kirakosyan School in Yerevan. Initially, this was reported by Hayk Kostanyan, the press secretary of the Mayor of Yerevan.

Subsequently, details of the arrest were presented by the Investigative Committee. One of the school employees, a physics teacher, was arrested during class, in front of the students. Later it was revealed that the teacher was arrested on charges of committing an obscene act against a minor.

The incident caused a great uproar among the parents of the students who were in the classroom at that time.

They insisted that the children were alarmed, frightened, and could not be calmed down for a long time.
