Electronic Prescription: how is the Patient’s Personal Data protected, who can buy the Medicines instead of the Person?
From 1 to 14 March, about 94,000 electronic prescriptions were issued through the “ARMED” system, of which about 77,000 have already been served.
In order to buy medicines with an electronic prescription, a citizen must provide his/her name, surname, patronymic, as well as the month and date of birth. There is no need to present a passport or other identification document to the pharmacy.
The Ministry of Health claims that a citizen should not engage in self-medication. He has to visit a doctor, get medicines with an electronic prescription.
