On 22 September, police reported that staff in one of Yerevan’s orphanages had insulted, tortured, beaten, and abused the children. According to the Investigative Committee, three employees of the “Yerevan Children’s Home” SNCO were charged under Article 119, Part 2, Clauses 3 to 5 of the Criminal Code (causing severe physical pain or severe mental suffering).
