Iravaban.net continues the new program “Informed Citizen,” which is aimed to inform the public on their rights through a video series. The title of the 94th video material of “Informed Citizen” program is: “Changing the Name.” Serine Khachatryan, Legal Advisor of Yerevan Anti-Corruption Center is the expert of the program. Registration of changing the name may be denied by the Civil Status registration Bodies when the presented documents do not comply with the requirements of law or other legislative acts, or when a criminal case is initiated against the person who wants to change the name, or he/she is incurs criminal sentence or has conviction record.
