Advanced Knowledge and Experience in Human Rights: Video about the Fall School
An interesting tradition has been formed in the scope of the Summer and Fall Schools on European Law; as a rule the participants take a photo in the group leap. The ordinary leap this time was in Aghveran. The theme of this School on European Law was “Protection of Human Rights.” Armenian and German experts delivered lectures.
Organizers of the Falls School on European Law are: German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ), The Law Foundation of Armenia, and Armenian Young Lawyers Association Non-Governmental Organization. Ms. Maike Ruhlig IRZ Project Manager attaches importance to the work with young lawyers who will shape the future of our country.
28 young people of different age groups participated in the regular Fall School.
Ms Nelly Tumasyan, Local Coordinator of German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ) in Armenia believes that the participants’ preparedness level is really high and it was noticeable.
This year, the organizers of the Fall School focused on the ECHR Case Law.
In addition the organizers stressed the importance of informal activities as well. The Youth participated in the sport events and went sightseeing. At the end of this five-day school the participants received certificates. In summary, Mr. Karen Zadoyan, the Director of the Autumn School on European Law mentioned that altogether the school has 83 graduates.
