The State Revenue Committee’s Internal Security and Pre-Clearance Control Departments prevented an illegal transportation attempt of large amounts of medicine to Armenia.
According to the State Revenue Committee’s information and public relations department, on February 14, SRC Customs agents searched a passenger bus operating the Russia-Armenia route in the Bagratashen checkpoint. As result, Armenian customs agents discovered over 40 kg various types of undeclared medication concealed in specially modified hiding place in the bus.
The damages are being clarifies, and the materials on the discovery have been sent to the department of violation and procedures of the SRC for further proceedings.
