Medical Workers are forbidden to apply “Gellac” and “Shellac”: New Rules on Hand Hygiene
Since 1 June, rules regarding the proper hygiene of the hands of healthcare workers have been established.
According to Romela Abovyan, head of the epidemiology department of the “National Center for Disease Control and Prevention”, hand hygiene has been underestimated among medical workers for many years, but it should be noted that proper hand hygiene, washing with soap and water, as well as disinfection play a major role in the process in preventing infections caused by medical interventions.
