At today’s special session of the National Assembly Nikol Pashinyan, the sole candidate to the Prime Minister, answers the MPs’ questions.

Member of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Arman Saghatelyan quoted a comment attributed to Nikol Pashinyan, which reads: “I am surprised that there are still people in our country who have illusions if you want on captured or if you want on occupied territories or if you want on liberated territories. I do not agree with the view that a good diplomacy can do so that these territories are not returned to Azerbaijan.  “

“Do you think so now as well?” Saghatelyan said.

Nikol Pashinyan first mentioned that the quoted text was put into circulation for 5 years already.

“I published for 15 times the photocopy of my article published in “Haykakan Zhamanak”, declaring that the sentence which you mentioned does not exist. I’m sorry that you, knowing this, being actively involved in social networks, you have not noticed my denials and now you have come to the National Assembly and are busy spreading disinformation. Let me conclude that in such case you and your team may have been connected with spreading such dissemination. If anybody is trying to present our activities contrary to the national interests of the Republic of Armenia, that person shall be very disappointed. I urge you to stop disseminating misinformation. According to my information, certain Republican circles are attributing me statements and special algorithms related to the NKR. This is done to stop the national awakening and to spread enmity. “
