A 22 years old Uzbek man was got more than 15 years in prison for threatening to kill Barack Obama.
Ulugbek Kodirov should have faced a life imprisonment. However he admitted his fault and in February 2012 the US County Court sentenced him to 15 years in prison. Kodirov’s advocate mentioned that he had become a victim a victim of social media.
Kodirov came to Alabama from Uzbekistan in 2009, and felt very lonely. He began looking for friends and companions in the internet. As his English was poor he used only Arabic language websites. And this is when the Islamists began showing videos where the Americans were teasing the representatives of other nations.
Under the impression of thess videos Kodirov decided to kill the US President during his election campaign.
