On 8 August, the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan will be on a working visit to the Russian Federation, the city of Sochi. On August 9, the President of the Republic of Armenia will hold a meeting with the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Armenian side expressed readiness to hold a trilateral meeting with the Presidents of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaihjan to discuss the issues of peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict, as well as the tense situation that occurred in recent days as a result of tension triggered by Azerbaijan.
The Armenian side believes that the just and peaceful solution of Karabakh conflict has no other alternatives, and that the Armenian side has always expressed readiness in favor of holding high-level meetings.
