Starting 22 November, the Central Bank will gradually circulate the New Bank-Notes

New bank-notes will be put into circulation from 22 November, 2018.

The new 1000 dram bank-note will be dedicated to Paruyr Sevak. 2000 drams banknote – to Tigran Petrosyan. 5000 drams – to William Saroyan, 10,000 drams – to Komitas, 20,000 drams – to Hovhannes Ayvazovsky, 50,000 drams – to Saint Gregory the Illuminator.

Bank-notes of 100,000 will not be issued anymore.
